Judo

Judo was the first martial art in the Olympics. The objective in Judo is to either throw or take down one’s opponent or control and submit via arm lock or choke hold. Judo is an off-shoot of Jiu Jitsu, and was the original art taught to the Gracie family of Brazil, who later founded the original concept for the UFC in America. A major principle of judo is the use of leverage, balance and timing to defeat larger, stronger opponents.

Our Judo classes are offered exclusively through our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program.
